सफ़र-ऐ-जिंदगी (Safar-e-jindagi)

Life... Hmm... what to write about it.... it's something we all have (like a Noun).. but something we don't have (like an Adjective) at the same time... It just drags itself to the finish point.. trying to be in the race... to compete in it... to win it... oblivious to everything in or around the track. Just a race...... Sometimes I think what's the purpose of such life at all. We all have dreams. to be some one.. to achieve something... to earn somethings and to lose some... But at the end of the day what's the purpose of all of it. In any case you are going to die at the end. No matter how big you make. No matter how well you have lived your life.. in the end You'll be forgotton.. For sometime you'll be that forgotten picture on the wall.. then a name on some one's ID and in the end that too will fade out. Everything you are will vanish from the face of earth. जाते वक़्त कितना तडपे थे हम लगता था दुनिया बस ख़त्म हो रही हैं.... मुझे लगा था तुझसे दूर हो कर... टूट जाऊंगा मैं... साँस न ले पाउँगा... दम घुट जाएगा... आंखे बाहर को निकल आएगी. ये कमबख्त दिल सिने में सिकुड़ कर दफ़न हो जायेगा आवाज निकलने कि आरजू में भीतर ही घुट के रह जाएगी और आखिर तड़प कर दम तोड़ तुंगा मैं.. मगर प्यार के बाकी सब ख्यालो कि तरह ये भी एक अजीब ही ख्याल था... देखो मैं अभी भी जिन्दा हूँ और तुम्हारे मरने की भी अभी तक कोई खबर नहीं आई हैं... ...आलोक मेहता...
